Vicky Heath has gained over 20 years’ experience of working as a professional actor and director in the UK, USA, and Europe. She has managed successful performing arts schools in the UK and internationally. She also works as an education consultant specializing in performing arts management, quality assurance and curriculum design at Further Education Institutions in the UK. She trains teachers and managers nationally, creating bespoke sessions focusing on ‘What makes an Outstanding Teacher’ and ‘Outstanding Management of Creative Arts Departments’. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Nunah Theatre Company based in the UK, who have produced five innovative devised physical theatre productions to date.
Amanda – Interarts Acting Teacher
Amanda Glover is a critically acclaimed theatre maker who created theatre with and for young people in a range of Contexts. Her work had been showcased in Bradford, Falkirk, Hull, York and several sell out (5 star) runs at Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She is trained in Literary Management, Community Learning and Development and has recently begun her Masters in Learning and Teaching in the Performing Arts at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Amanda has been working with children and young people for over 12 years and has a great passion for creating live theatre with and for young people.
Jolanda – Interarts Singing Teacher
Jolanda is a classically trained soprano, specializing in opera, but by no means limited to that, having sung in musicals, choirs, concerts and theatre . She has sung professionally in the UK and Europe since 2014 and is a recent MMus graduate of the University of Hull in Performance. Her professional debut was in Rocket Opera’s “The Mikado” in 2014 and since she has not been idle, singing Armida in Handel’s Rinaldo, Sandman in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Phyllis in Sullivan’s Iolanthe, Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, second witch in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, among many others.
Alicja – Interarts Dance Teacher
Alicja is a professional contemporary dancer, performer and her passion is choreography. When she discovered dance in 2000, she began to develop a love for the art form. In 2010 she had the opportunities to improve her skills at The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance in Dundee. She graduated with Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Dance. Currently she is teaching dance all ages in Scotland, Poland and Switzerland. She is the co-founder of Co-operation Dance, and is working on the dance film “ The Red Dress”. She has performed many times on stage in Scotland and Poland.
